Most computer users have a lot of photos stored on their PCs. That's because, nowadays, anyone can buy an advanced digital camera for a very low price. But still, even the greatest photos may need adjusting sometimes, for making them perfect. Unfortunately, Windows doesn't include a tool for editing images and adjusting their characteristics, so the only thing left is to turn to additional applications for this. Adobe Photoshop could be a choice, but this program is difficult to use and requires a very fast computer system.

FreeVimager is a much better idea in this case, as this simple Windows program offers only what the user needs, without crowding the interface or requiring a lot of system resources. After installing the application using its simple installation wizard, the user will notice a very simple interface in which he can import one or more image files at the same time.

FreeVimager offers support for a wide range of graphical formats, including JPEG, GIF, PNG and BMP. After importing the desired images, the user can start editing them by accessing the tools included in the interface. These tools allow rotating an image, cropping it, for removing unwanted parts, but also adjusting its brightness, contrast and other such characteristics.

Besides editing images, FreeVimager also allows viewing them in a slideshow, one after another. Using the classical menu, the user can save the slideshow as a video file and can add an unlimited number of images to it. Besides that, using the menu, one can save the imported images in another format, including PDF.
